Design & Consultancy

Defence College offers engineering design, development and research services on a wide range of engineering disciplines. The college’s activities are supported by globally renowned experts in defence engineering sector. The college’s experts have long established expertise in the design & development of weapon components and systems, use of CFD methods for the analysis of high speed flowfields in complex weapons, multibody dynamics design approach to design equipment assemblies, vehicle dynamics relevant to both tracked and wheeled military vehicles and propulsion design. Some of the organisation’s research activities (based on our consultants’ accomplishments) include CFD studies on large calibre muzzle brake flowfield, simulations of transient missile release from a military aircraft, thermos-structural design analysis of barrels and recoil system design. Examples given below are some of the many topics our consultants can provide support on.
